Drumchapel – 16th September – Kinfauns Drive

our Fourth Guerrilla Garden Event in Drumchapel on Kinfauns Drive,  on Wednesday 16th September at 7pm. We will be working on the same site as previously, tending to the existing flower beds and creating some new ones.

Hopefully there will be an opportunity to plant some trees and bulbs from various sponsored sources, but we would this time like to ask everyone to bring a couple of plants or a bag of bulbs with them this time to contribute to the dig. As always the CCA will be providing all the gardening tools and water needed for the event.

We hope to see you all there and details and directions to the site will be sent out for any new comers at a later date.

Again if people could get back to me as to whether they can make it along, then it would be much appreciated.

8th July – Drumchapel Gardening

This new site is situated on the main road of Kinfauns Drive, this road is a very long one so to make it clear to everyone exactly where the site is, you will find it situated opposite the side street Kinclaven Place, and is roughly a 5mins walk from the Drumchapel Community Centre (walking straight along the main road in an Easterly direction).

Keeping Glasgow a Green Dear City

Tree For All – Glasgow Event

Start: 29/11/2008
For a fun winter day out then join the Woodland Trust Scotland and Glasgow City Council for a day of tree planting and woodland activities on Heathcote Avenue, Drumchapel. As well as tree planting there will be wood sculpting and willow weaving.

The event is part of a wider tree planting programme involving both the Woodland Trust Scotland and Glasgow City Council.

Come along to Heathcote Ave on Saturday 29th November, the fun starts at 11.00am and runs until 3.00pm
