		<description>hey there, we are on the southside - I work on a project called Urban Roots (www.urbanroots.org.uk). we do community gardening and other environmental projects in Toryglen but our volunteers come from across the Southside. we&#039;d be happy to support any action - have loads of tools, volunteers, expertise etc... that can be used!

i live in Battlefield, where a group of us are planning to take over a couple of bits of ground as community gardens but we want to get more local people on board first. we&#039;re having a street party on the Big Lunch day - 19th July, Lochleven Lane so hopefully we&#039;ll drum up some local involvement there, and get a team to get digging soon after!
