Keeping Glasgow a Green Dear City

For a fun winter day out then join the Woodland Trust Scotland and Glasgow City Council for a day of tree planting and woodland activities on Heathcote Avenue, Drumchapel. As well as tree planting there will be wood sculpting and willow weaving.
The event is part of a wider tree planting programme involving both the Woodland Trust Scotland and Glasgow City Council.
Come along to Heathcote Ave on Saturday 29th November, the fun starts at 11.00am and runs until 3.00pm

I’m doing the DCT craft fair on that day, otherwise I’d come along. It sounds like a great project and I rather like the idea of willow weaving and woodland activities.
